La Convention de Bruxelles mise en perspective internationale: the Brussels convention in international perspective

The Brussels Convention was adopted on 27 September 1968. Fifty years have passed since then; so it is appropriate to reflect on what has been achieved by the Convention and by its successor instruments—the revised versions of the Convention, the Brussels I Regulation of 2000 and the Brussels I Regulation of 20123 (“Brussels 2012”). How do these instruments (the “Brussels instruments”) compare with similar measures adopted in other parts of the world?
