Implementing the “right to be forgotten”: the Article 29 Working Party speaks up

Following the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the Google Spain case, Google organised a series of public hearings to inform the public about its implementation of “the right to be forgotten” . Last week, the EU’s Article 29 Data Protection Working Party issued its guidelines on how the ruling should be implemented.
