Narasimha Rao transformed India political scientist Vinay Sitapati draws on new evidence and interviews to present an alternative portrait of one of India’s most misunderstood and maligned leaders in modern history. Abhilash Puljal finds the book is fast paced and lucid and writes that it is an informative read for both academics and non-academics who are unaware of the contributions made by Rao.
