Comments on the Supreme Court decision in B v Ministry of Defence on the meaning of "knowledge" for the purposes of the Limitation Act 1980 s.14(1)(b) and accordingly whether veterans' claims for personal injury caused by radiation from nuclear tests were statute-barred. Considers whether it was sufficient for the claimant to have a reasonable belief that his injuries may have been caused by the defendant's fault, such that it was reasonable for him to make further inquiries, in order to establish the requisite knowledge, notwithstanding his lack of factual evidence.
