Despite the problems in getting out of Iraq, speculation that the Bush administration is still looking to move against the Ahmadinejad regime in Iran have refused to go away. And, while the administration's first-term interventionism has been curbed somewhat since 2004, there remains a great deal of antipathy toward Tehran among leading officials (and lobby groups) in the US.
