Design of augmented furniture should address interaction within and between people, as devices that simply satisfy technological requirements are not enough. The author describes how his team implemented affordances for augmented collaboration in meeting rooms, integrating the off the shelf products to make the meeting room as a whole an augmented system enabling interaction with the information infrastructure and remote locations. The chapter describes the practice of interaction design and techniques for the dissemination of augmented environments inside large corporations.
