The Greek socialists in power

This article examines the development, organisation and policies of PASOK, and the performance of the party since it came to power in 1981. In the course of the analysis, the differences between PASOK and other European socialist parties are examined, and it is suggested that PASOK shares some of the characteristics of non-European populist movements.
