This study was commissioned by the Secretariat of the ICGLR in collaboration with UNHCR in order to address risks of statelessness for refugees in protracted refugee situations and explore legal pathways to local integration. It provides an analysis of the laws in force in the states and territories under considerations, as well as implementing regulations where available, and other official policy.
