Maritime laws and sustainable development of Blue Economy: conference report

This note aims to provide a conference report concerning the first sub-forum, “Maritime Laws and Sustainable Development of Blue Economy,” held during the second International Maritime Economy and Maritime Services Forum. The sub-forum was chaired by two renowned maritime law experts, Professor Zou Keyuan and Professor Yen-Chiang Chang, with nine speakers from different States presenting on four different topics. The first sub-forum effectively addressed the current needs of blue economy development and provided insightful analysis and perspectives on several cutting-edge issues. Based on this conference, it is hoped to better promote academic exchange and collaboration in the field of maritime law, thereby establishing a long-term and effective platform for international cooperation in addressing maritime law issues and fostering sustainable development.
