Globalization of technology
This two-volume guide points readers to the key texts pertaining to the wide range of academic disciplines and subject areas known as the social sciences. The concentration here is on economics; political economy; politics; sociology; law; management and business; psychology and organizational psychology; organizational behavior; human geography; international relations; and research and analysis methods. Entries were prepared to be useful to students or researchers beginning a literature search, and to teachers and lecturers constructing reading lists. Each signed entry offers a critical analysis of selected works (mostly books, rather than articles; secondary sources exclusively). In addition to the standard-length entries are longer entries on each subject area and on the history and development of the social sciences. Arrangement is alphabetical; a thematic list and cross references provide further access.
