Born to fail? How influential was class In the examination system In Scotland In the 1970s?

This abstract will form part of my undergraduate dissertation. The aim of the research is to analyse whether having a father who belonged to a particular social class affected the probability of a young person passing Ordinary Grades or Higher Grades in Scotland during the early 1970s.
