This dataset was compiled to measure central banks' shifts in monetary sovereignty concern. The scores received by each speech range from -1 to +1, with -1 being shrinking concern for monetary sovereignty and +1 being growing concern. 0 is neutral. The dataset runs from December 2018 to mid-January 2020 and was used in a study to determine correlation between changes in monetary sovereignty and retail CBDC programs amongst France, the UK, and Japan.
