This repository includes the version of the PatentsView data (March 2022) that is used to produce some of the exhibits in "Social Push and the Direction of Innovation."

Because we needed citations data and the March 2022 version is no longer available, we use the latest available version of g_us_patent_citation.tsv (from April 2025), which is a bit newer than the version available at: https://doi.org/10.3886/E223582V1.
